Eldest of the 3 Generation 1 ancestors, Est. born c. 1854. Died 30th March, 1935
In slavery at Abeokuta, came into contact with Christian missionaries. Worked alongside Bishop Ajayi Crowther, bringing Christianity to Ibadan. At his request, the missionary team moved to Ora to found the pioneer Christian centre in Osun Province. Secured his own freedom through diligent work. Ransomed his mother Madam Marian Ponle Arokoyi. Sent by his mother to Lagos to secure the ransom for his brother, Daddy Owoyemi. Joined by his sister Madam Lydia OLajumoke in missionary work.
